Release Notes for 3/5/2025

What's this? Every two weeks, we'll provide an update about what's new with the web apps, dashboards, and tools created and supported by Teaching & Learning Analytics.

Spark

• Added a new "For You" tab that displays all the sparks a user matches with in the current week.

  If Sparks haven't been generated for the current week, they'll instead see the sparks for the week in which they previously visited (as sparks are ranked only when the dashboard is accessed for the first time in a given week).

• On the Spark Library, changed the "All" view to an "Alphabetic" view instead

  Prior to this update, sparks were sorted in the order in which they were uploaded to the system.

• On the Spark Library, the various toggles at the top have been consolidated into an updated header; mobile display has also been enhanced
• Enhanced logging features to log additional details to better facilitate support and analytics needs.

Student Attribute Manager

• Added new loading indicator when uploading a file to an attribute

  We have identified the updates necessary to fix the severe performance issue when uploading large files, especially when uploading to large lists. We are evealuating how to best approach this project._

• Increased timeout period when uploading files to provide a workaround to the slow uploads

Explorer

• Enhanced logging features (used for supporting the tool and providing aggregate reports as needed) to log additional fields.

ScoreShare

• Enhanced logging features (used for supporting the tool and providing aggregate reports as needed) to log additional fields.

Unizin Data Services

• Provided data to populate the Course Grades table in the Unizin Data Platform with final grades from the UCI Student Data Warehouse
