Release Notes for 4/2/2025

What's this? Every two weeks, we'll provide an update about what's new with the web apps, dashboards, and tools created and supported by Teaching & Learning Analytics.

UCI Spark

• A tour is now displayed to students when they first visit their dashboard after completing the questionnaire. The tour shows where several key Spark features can be found. It can be replayed at any time via the Start Tour link.
• Created a new internal tool to simulate different quarters and weeks, which helps to streamline demos, testing, and development of Spark

UCI Appointments

• New Analytics tab provides direct access to the Tableau analytics tools; this tab is displayed to all staff and managers, and has instructions on how to request access to the dashboards.

Unizin Data Services

• More complete Person data populated for users where that data was not readily available from Canvas itself

Compass Explorer

• Updated to newest version of Tailwind UI and Daisy UI
• Refreshed look and feel to better reflect UC Irvine branding changes
• Updated list of partners on the homepage
