What is the Unizin Data Platform (UDP)?
The Unizin Data Platform (UDP) is a comprehensive cloud-native data platform designed specifically for higher education institutions to manage and analyze teaching and learning data. Integrating SIS, LMS, and select third-party tools data, the UDP transforms this data into a standardized UCDM (Unizin Common Data Model) and stores it securely in the cloud for access by authorized users.
The Unizin Data Platform is currently implemented for over a dozen top tier North American public institutions using the same data model, unlocking the ability for cross-institutional research, leveraging scale for resource savings, and creating a broad community around this data.

Provides advisors with a comprehensive view of student performance in Canvas, including how students are performing in their courses, which students are at risk, and how performance has changed over time.
LTI Usage
Provides information about how often LTI tools are used in Canvas, which tools are most popular, and how usage has changed over time.
Canvas Adoption
Provides information about the adoption of Canvas, including how many courses are using Canvas, visualizations around when instructors create and publish spaces, and how usage has changed over time.
LMS Usage
Provides feature-level usage information for Canvas, including how often students are using the LMS, which features are most popular, and how usage has changed over time.
